Reason for the renaming

So basically, a lot of the feedback we've had from around the 'traps' is that the word "BALL" is scaring people. People are thinking that it is much more 'formal' than it really is. The aim of our event was to encourage locals to come and have some fun, with an excuse to get dressed up, and just hope that we raised some money along the way!

We've had discussions at OVPA meetings, and agreed that we want to aim this years event to be a little bit less formal, but still with the formal dress code. It will be more of a cocktail party- finger food (mainly so that it's hot!), no formally set tables. Basically a bit more casual and relaxed that will allow people to 'mingle' a bit better.

SO ideas for the new name please

I even think that I can set up a poll on here so we can vote on ideas- I think!
